What we build
Flowing is a desktop writing environment for researchers and students who want AI assistance without losing the manuscript or its sources. You import selected reference PDFs into a local library, write in rich text or LaTeX, and keep inspectable passages available to Recall, Ask with context, polish, and continue writing.
The workflow is deliberate: prepare your library, write, manage References (bibliography sidebar and @ cite from library), recall passages by keyword, ask with context, revise with evidence-grounded suggestions, and continue writing with cited evidence—not open-ended chat.
Who it is for
Flowing is built for literature reviews, thesis chapters, and any long-form academic writing where citations and source fidelity matter. If you need a general-purpose chatbot, ChatGPT may be enough; if you need writing that stays anchored to papers you have actually read, Flowing is the better fit.
